On 4 November last, the keynote lecture “Recycling of plastic waste as an alternative solution to the problem of environmental pollution” took place at the 5th Symposium of the Academic Body Ecotoxicology from molecules to Ecosystems, held virtually.
The project partners, FCC Medio Ambiente and the University of Granada, presented the LIFE 4FILM project as a possible solution and evaluation of the life cycle of mechanical recycling of post-consumer flexible polyethylene film, thus avoiding a higher percentage of this type of waste being deposited in landfills.
The different stages that make up the project were presented, as well as their purpose.
